Thank you for your interest in this topic! At UGA, the ICON PhD Program endeavors to train the next generation of sustainability and conservation scientists and practitioners with the competencies needed to work effectively on teams that address wicked problems.
In August 2019, I spoke at the Ecological Society of America meeting in Louisville, Kentucky (USA) about the competencies that facilitate individual contributions to wicked problem research. You can download a PDF of the presentation HERE, and below you will find a bibliography of reference materials that were drawn upon in the synthesis presented.
